Moni kehitysvammainen voisi kuitenkin ty\u00f6llisty\u00e4 tavalliseen palkkaty\u00f6h\u00f6n, jos heille annettaisiin siihen mahdollisuus. Suomessa on tuhansia kehitysvammaisia, joilla on sek\u00e4 koulutus ett\u00e4 halua ty\u00f6ntekoon. Hankkeessa kehitet\u00e4\u00e4n sek\u00e4 teknologiaratkaisuja ett\u00e4 keinoja niiden juurruttamiseen osaksi kehitysvammaisten arkea. Teknologian tarkoituksena on tukea kehitysvammaisten osallisuutta, toimintakyky\u00e4, ty\u00f6kyky\u00e4 ja digitaitoja. Samalla pyrit\u00e4\u00e4n vahvistamaan my\u00f6s heid\u00e4n kanssaan ty\u00f6skentelevien ammattilaisten osaamista.<\/p>\n<p>Aiemmissa hankkeissa on jo kehitetty monenlaisia ratkaisuja, jotka tukevat kehitysvammaisten arkea. Esimerkiksi \u00e4lypeilit voivat auttaa muistamaan p\u00e4iv\u00e4n tapahtumat, ja \u00e4lyhuonekalut, kuten p\u00f6yd\u00e4t ja tuolit, voivat antaa ohjeita arjen tilanteissa. T\u00e4llaiset ratkaisut voivat merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4sti v\u00e4hent\u00e4\u00e4 kehitysvammaisten kuormitusta ja siihen liittyv\u00e4\u00e4 ahdistusta.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Uudenlaista vuorovaikutusta ja tukea teknologian avulla<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>TOTA-hankkeessa kehitet\u00e4\u00e4n my\u00f6s uusia tapoja vuorovaikutuksen tueksi. Esimerkiksi vaatteisiin integroidut k\u00e4ytt\u00f6liittym\u00e4t mahdollistavat avuntarpeen ilmaisemisen yksinkertaisesti vaatetta koskettamalla. Vaatteisiin liittyv\u00e4 teknologia voi my\u00f6s tarjota toimintaohjeita eri tilanteisiin, kuten WC-tiloissa tai ty\u00f6pisteell\u00e4.<\/p>\n<p>Hankkeen aikana n\u00e4it\u00e4 ja muita puettavia sek\u00e4 arkiymp\u00e4rist\u00f6ihin integroitavia teknologioita kokeillaan kehitysvammaisten ihmisten aidossa toimintaymp\u00e4rist\u00f6ss\u00e4. Tavoitteena on, ett\u00e4 teknologiaratkaisut edist\u00e4v\u00e4t kehitysvammaisten arjessa ja ty\u00f6ss\u00e4 selviytymist\u00e4 sek\u00e4 tukevat heid\u00e4n itsen\u00e4ist\u00e4 rooliaan oman el\u00e4m\u00e4ns\u00e4 digitaalisissa tukikeinoissa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ty\u00f6pajoissa kokeillaan ja kehitet\u00e4\u00e4n yhdess\u00e4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Syksyll\u00e4 2024 j\u00e4rjestet\u00e4\u00e4n Tampereella, Porissa ja verkossa ty\u00f6pajoja, joissa esitell\u00e4\u00e4n ja kokeillaan teknologian tarjoamia mahdollisuuksia. Ty\u00f6pajoissa kehitysvammaiset, ammattilaiset ja ty\u00f6nantajat p\u00e4\u00e4sev\u00e4t yhdess\u00e4 keskustelemaan tarpeista ja kehitt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n uusia ratkaisuja.<\/p>\n<p>TOTA-hankkeessa on keskeist\u00e4 lis\u00e4t\u00e4 verkostomaista monialaista yhteisty\u00f6t\u00e4 ja osaamista teknologiapilotointien avulla.
